I specialize in easy-to-navigate, one-of-a-kind affordable WordPress websites for artists, craftspeople, and small businesses of all kinds such as restaurants, musicians, insurance companies, and so much more – all for an affordable, reasonable fee. I am also a working fine artist, with over 12 years of self-employment experience developing websites and graphic designs, as well as 17 years of experience designing computer software interfaces and running usability tests on software we designed in-house at Educational Testing Service in Princeton, NJ. This experience, as well as my degree in graphic design and my own interests in the art world, provide me with the ability to create professional sites for others. I’m known in the industry as a website designer for quilters and photographers, painters, and more, and can provide you with awesome references!
I understand my customers – their needs, budgets, and comfort levels. People in all age groups have varying comfort levels on the computer, and yet most of my customers want to be able to update their own sites. I researched content management systems for months, and found that WordPress would provide the perfect platform for most of my customers. Don’t want to tackle your own site management? No problem! I’m still available to do your updates for you. But my customized reference guide and phone training have received rave reviews. Developing small business websites, or websites for artists, or websites for quilters, etc., should not be difficult, and I make the process very clear by explaining all of the steps involved. I can also help small businesses set up shops inside Shopify.
I don’t design from templates. No two sites are alike. Each customer will be given a unique design that reflects their business or artwork. However, if your budget is tight, I am willing to create more simplistic, “not as one-of-a-kind” sites with limited revisions in order to give you a pleasing, affordable web presence.
Other graphic design projects – I am also available to create newsletters, logos, business cards, photograph your art or business, customize blog headers, or even create website/blog combinations that look integrated (even if you have a static HTML-based site and a blog in Blogger, or a WordPress-based Content Management System (CMS) site with a blog still in Blogger, or a CMS with website and blog all in WordPress), and all that fun stuff.
While I’m physically located in the Berkshires in MA, my customer base is all over the world, so your location should not be an issue.
