This pieced winter quilt is my abstract interpretation of a dreamy glittery Christmas morning sunrise. The sun pouring through the snow-covered trees was shades of pink and blue, while the atmosphere was “snowing diamonds” (my term for the crystallization that takes place on frigid days in upstate NY).
