Raw edge applique, machine applique, hand-dyed fabric, commercial cotton fabrics, free-motion quilting with rayon threads.
Inspired by the colors of the hand-dyed fabric that I used in the “funky log cabin style” background for each leaf, I combined that fabric with some commercial cotton that reminded me of the view into the trees, lying on one’s back on a breezy summer day.
